Pastor Brown received his Bachelor of Science degree in Engineering from Norfolk State University. His academic preparation for the gospel includes attending Samuel D. Proctor School of Theology at Virginia Union University in which he received a Master of Divinity degree in 1991 and a Doctorate of Ministry degree in 1998.

His servant attitude has built close relationships with highly respected ministry and political leaders. In 2004, he was appointed to the Chesapeake General Hospital’s authority board. Since 1999, he has been under the spiritual covering of Bishop Eddie L. Long, Senior Pastor of New Birth Missionary Baptist Church, Atlanta, Georgia.

Pastor Brown is married to Elder Valerie Kay Brown. They were married in 1989 and their union has produced two children: James and Kimberly. Pastor believes that God has called for he and his wife to work together in ministry. Their commitment to fruitful, life-changing, and evolving ministry has enabled them to birth their own ministry, Keys to the Kingdom. Together they have co-authored many books.

Pastor Brown is determined to fulfill the call God has placed on his life through obedience to HIS commands. For Deuteronomy 11:26 says, “Today, I am giving you the choice between a blessing and a curse! For you will be blessed if you obey the commands of the Lord your God that I am giving you today”.
