Purpose
The Institute was created in response to faith-based entities' need to train leaders, staff and volunteers in the areas of Leadership, Financial, and Administrative Management. The Institute offers individuals an opportunity to sharpen skills and/or acquire new skills to enhance their abilities to be effective leaders.
The institue is recognized by the Samuel D. Proctor, School of Theology, in cooperation with Virginia Union University School of Theology, Richmond Virginia. As such, the program is designed to meet the standards and requirements for continuing education credits as established by their accrediting boards.

Workshops/Trainings/Seminars
The Institute offers both a structured plan of study to become certified in a particular discipline or the ability to take individual classes to meet your current needs.
All workshops/trainings/seminars are held in the new state of the art educational facilities of Mount Lebanon Missionary Baptist Chruch, Chesapeake, VA. All computer classes are held in a computer lab where participants will each have a computer for hands-on computer learning while the Instructor is teaching.

Hands-on computer learning. At the end of the course, participant will be familiar with how to maintain financial church information. In addition, participants should understand how to read and analyze financial statement.
