Mount Lebanon
Christian Academy is a Baptist affiliated church sponsored daycare
and primary school. The Academy is dedicated to equipping our
youth to aim and reach for their God given potential through spiritual
and academic excellence.

Code
The Academy adheres to
a strict dress code which includes a basic uniform and alternate attire.

Licensing
to Operate
Mount Lebanon
Christian Academy has been approved by the Virginia Department
of Social Services to operate as a religiously exempt Child Daycare
Center. The Academy was established in September, 1998 and is
currently servicing children ages 2 1/2 to 7 years of age (Pre-K
thru 2nd grade).
The
Academy is also a member of the Association of Christian Schools
International (ACSI) |

Operating
Hours
- Before
Care: 7 - 8 am. This
service is offered by the Academy for parents who need early child
care. A nutritious breakfast is provided each morning
- Academic
Day: 8 am - 2:30 pm. The
Academy's Academic Program is designed to provide educational
excellence. To achieve these standards, thewy Academy uses
the ABEKA book curriculum which emphasizes strong phonetic based
Reading, Math, Basic Skill Development, Study of the Bible, and
Social and Behavioral Developments. Our students tested
on average one to two grades above their level on the Stanford
10 test. Lunch is provided each day.
- After
Care: 2:30 - 6 pm. This
service is provided by the Academy for parents who need additional
child care after the academic day has been completed. Your
child will be give time to complete homework and assistance will
be provided. Upon completion of homework, students will
have the time participate in other activities. snacks are
provided each afternoon.
- Operation Stay
Safe (OSS)- This Summer Program offers opportunity for Academic
enrichment, as well as, biblical reinforcement, arts and crafts,
field trips, gamer and much, much more.
- Academy Distinctions-
Computer Lab, Library, Atrium Playground, Gymnasium, Cafeteria,
Degreed Teachers, and Resource Classes-Spanish, Art, Library,
Computer, and P.E.
- PTA (Parents
of the Academy)- The parents of the academy generally meet
once per month during the school year. All parents of the
academy are welcome to attend these meetings. The PTA organizes
fundraisers that will enhance the spiritual, academic and social
progress of our children.

Application fee of $55.00 (nonrefundable).
- Counting
the Cost - Tuition reflects the annual amounts for the
2004-2005 Academic year.
